After an early breakfast, you will depart Arusha for the approximately 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you will immediately begin a full-day game drive, exploring a park famous for its iconic, towering Baobab trees and the massive herds of Elephants that congregate along the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season. You’ll spend the day searching for lions, leopards, buffalos, and a wide array of antelope and birdlife, enjoying your picnic lunch at a scenic location inside the park. In the late afternoon, you will exit the park and drive toward the Karatu/Manyara area, checking in for dinner and overnight at the comfortable Heart and Soul Lodge Manyara.

After an early start, you will embark on a full-day game drive exploring different sections of the central plains, maximizing your chances of seeing thrilling predator-prey interactions. You will track lions on the kopjes, search for the elusive leopard, and witness the herds of wildebeest and zebra.
