Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, followed by a short drive to Arusha National Park. This park is known for its beautiful scenery, including Mount Meru views, lush forests, and Momella Lakes.
You will enjoy a game drive through the park, where you may see giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, and a variety of primates such as colobus monkeys. The park is also rich in birdlife and offers a peaceful safari experience.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a full-day game drive, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes. You may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many bird species. The Tarangire River attracts animals throughout the year, making it an excellent location for wildlife viewing.
At midday, you will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. After lunch, continue with your game drive before heading to Karatu.

After an early breakfast at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive to the crater rim for breathtaking views.
You will then descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to over 25,000 animals and offers one of the best chances to see the Big Five, including the rare black rhino.
You will explore open grasslands, acacia forests, and a soda lake that attracts flamingos and other bird species.
At midday, you will enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool. After lunch, continue with a short game drive before ascending the crater and returning to Arusha.
